Hitit Seramik (Turkey) rises in porcelain tile

05/07/07 - One of the most vital Turkish ceramic tile producers, Hitit Seramik, has recently opened a modern plant for the production of technical and glazed porcelain tiles.
The company intends to strengthen its position in the porcelain tile sector, on both domestic and foreign markets, with the intention to bring the turnover to 40 million dollars.

The new plant, with a daily output of 10-12.000 square meters, was supplied by the Italian group Sacmi.
It is made up of two presses from the Imola series, installed for the first time in Turkey, two glazing lines and two vertical dryers.
Regarding the firing process, two mono-channel FMP kilns and a JMP dryer were installed, these also for the first time in Turkey.
Completing the supply are the magnetic guided vehicles for movement, sorting lines and a mould depot.
