I-NKFILLER® exceeds 170 installations
Produced by I-Tech and marketed by Inter Ser, the automatic digital printer filling system is used by the world’s leading tile manufacturers.
The collaboration between I-Tech and Inter Ser reached a new milestone in June when I-NKFILLER®, the automatic filling system for inks, materials and glues for digital printers, exceeded 170 installations. Produced by I-Tech and marketed by Inter Ser in the majority of international markets, the system has become one of the most popular on the market and is adopted by major tile manufacturers in approximately 20 countries.
The success of I-NKFILLER® is largely a result of its rapid return on investment, averaging just over a year, and the numerous certified improvements it offers in terms of sustainability and efficiency. These include reduced waste, minimised machine downtime and printer maintenance costs, elimination of plastic canisters, lower transport costs, reduction of CO2 emissions, improved efficiency in the use of raw materials and the production process, elimination of human error, extended shelf life of inks and improved finished product quality.
The version for handling inks remains the best-selling model in the I-NKFILLER® family, although I-NKFILLER® DG, designed for the automatic feeding of high-consumption digital glues, has also seen significant sales growth. Another new model that has been introduced in the past two years is I-NKFILLER® ST (Surface Treatment), which is used for filling machines that apply surface protection chemicals during lapping and polishing.
“The results stem from a strategic collaboration between two highly specialised companies,” comments I-Tech CEO Bruno Bettelli. “I-Tech is focused on the development of innovative technological solutions, while Inter Ser boasts an increasingly global presence and market recognition.”
Inter Ser CEO Gian Luca Zanoni adds, “The ceramic companies we work with have always recognised our professionalism, reliability and ability to select outstanding manufacturers from the Sassuolo district. Here too, our decision to promote I-NKFILLER® technology has proven to be a winning strategy for everyone, especially for our customers.”
