ICF-Welko supplies kilns for large-size panels to Spain

The special System-ICF-Welko kilns for firing large-format ceramic panels have proved a big hit with two major Spanish producers.

A new kiln (width 1700 mm and length 160 m) for the production of 1200x3600 mm size panels with thicknesses from 3 to 10 mm, made with System Lamina technology, is due to be installed in spring 2016 at the Grespania factory in Castellón.

Also in Castellón, a 50-metre five-layer dryer and a kiln (width 2100 mm and length 260 m) for the production of 1600x3200 mm panels in thicknesses from 12 to 30 mm are to be supplied to the ceramic producer The Size.

The kiln and dryer are equipped with cutting-edge technological solutions which have already been tested in previous large-format plants and will be installed and started up towards mid-2016.
