Imerys opens new R&D laboratory
On 16 November 2011, Imerys Ceramics unveiled Imerys Ceramics Technologies UK, a 400 sq.m research and development laboratory based at its main UK ball clay production site at Teigngrace in Devon. Equipped with a quality control laboratory and a brand new ceramics technologies laboratory dedicated to innovation in ceramic applications, the centre will boost the company’s skills and enable it to support its customers and develop new products suited to the specific needs of tableware, sanitaryware, tiles and advanced ceramic producers.
