Innocenzo Cipolletta joins board of directors of Industrie Ceramiche Piemme

07/07/06 - Innocenzo Cipolletta, the renowned economist and former director general of the Italian Employers’ Federation Confindustria, has joined the board of directors of Fiorano Modenese-based firm Industrie Ceramiche Piemme.
Besides being a very prestigious appointment for the company, it will be important in terms of the experience and knowledge brought by the chairman of Ubs, Il Sole 24 Ore and the University of Trento.

On 22 June this year, Piemme approved its 2005 balance sheet, which indicates a substantial increase in turnover and pre-tax profits of 3,700,000 euro.
During the first five months of 2006, the turnover generated from sales of Piemme tiles increased by 20%, winning significant market share.

The 2007 collection of floor and wall tiles designed by Valentino is now ready and will be unveiled at the forthcoming Cersaie.
These are highly innovative and original products for which the company has strong expectations for 2007.
