Inter Ser celebrates 40% growth in turnover and membership of Acimac
In 2021, the company led by the Zanoni brothers posted a turnover of more than €20 million.
Inter Ser, a Vercelli-based company with a logistics centre in Sassuolo that has been specialising in international trade of original spare parts and machinery for the ceramic industry since 1996, posted a record turnover of more than €20 million in 2021, a further 40% increase on the previous year’s already excellent performance (up 10% on 2019).
“At a time of raw material shortages and consequent delays in deliveries, the market has placed its trust in us and recognised our ability to react and deliver on our commitments,” commented CEOs Gian Luca and Paolo Zanoni, who also expressed their satisfaction with the company’s recent membership of Acimac (Italian Ceramic Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers’ Association).
Becoming a member of Acimac last October marked an important recognition of Inter Ser’s contribution to the Italian ceramic equipment suppliers’ growth through research into new technical solutions and development in international markets where the companies do not have a wide enough sales network of their own. Through regular visits to customers all over the world, Inter Ser’s sales team (pictured) works with production and maintenance managers at ceramic plants to identify potential improvements to production processes. The technical department examines ideas, information and requests together with equipment suppliers based in the Sassuolo area in order to jointly design machinery that can be easily integrated into existing production lines, many of which carry the Inter Ser brand name.
“We believe that our ability to build partnerships throughout the supply chain is important not just for the growth of our company but also for our contribution to Acimac,” concludes Gian Luca Zanoni.
