Joaquín Font de Mora appointed chairman of ANFFECC
Joaquín Font de Mora, CEO of Vidres, has been appointed the new chairman of the Spanish Association of Ceramic Frit, Glaze and Colour Producers (ANFFECC). He takes over from Miguel Ángel Michavila (Al-Farben) and in accordance with the articles of association will remain in office for the next 4 years.
A former director of the Institute for Ceramic Technology (ITC) and recently elected vice chairman of Redit, Font de Mora has spent his entire career at Vidres, transforming the family-owned company into a major global player in the ceramic glaze and colour sector by focusing on product innovation and internationalisation.
He was elected chairman of ANFFECC during the association’s last General Meeting which also saw the renewal of the Board of Directors. The Board now consists of vice chairman Francisco Nácher (Itaca), treasurer Ángel Navarro (Coloronda), along with Fernando Fabra (Esmaltes), Julio García (Ferro), María Larena (Prodesco) and past president Miguel Ángel Michavila.
