Kale Group adopts SITI B&T technology for full-body porcelain tile production
Officially opened last July during the 59th Ceramic Festival in Can, Turkey, Kale Group’s new full-body porcelain production facility is one of the most prestigious contracts completed in 2016 by SITI B&T Group.
On the new production site SITI B&T has installed two EVO 7208/2400 presses, two vertical dryers and a 2950 pre-kiln twin-channel dryer, a 2950 twin-channel kiln of length 166.50 m with MHR 230°C hot air recovery system and a single-layer dryer. An EVO7 digital printer from group member company Projecta Engineering has been chosen for the decoration department.
SITI B&T Group has also supplied the handling and storage equipment. A high level of production flow flexibility is ensured by the new LGV vehicles, while automatic storage is performed by BBOX machines specially developed for large sizes.
Working in close collaboration with Kale’s technical staff, SITI B&T has integrated the new cutting-edge plant technologies with a number of existing machines to create an advanced Smart Factory with high productivity and efficient consumptions.
The new plant has a production capacity of 20,000 sq.m/day and currently produces 60x60 cm and 80x80 cm sizes, although it is ready for the production of 60x120 cm and 80x160 cm sizes.
