Kutayha Seramik starts up new lines

Kutayha Seramik22/10/04 – Last July the Turkish ceramic company Kutayha Seramik started up three new production lines.
The company, which belongs to the Kutahya Porselen Group, one of the oldest and most renowned tableware manufacturers in Turkey, has decided to renew its production facilities for the manufacture of single-fired floor tiles.

The new lines, supplied entirely by the Sacmi Group (which also supplied the other installed machinery), include three new PH2090 presses and the corresponding EVA792 dryers. This investment will allow Kutayha Seramik to reach an annual production of 16 million square metres of tiles.

The Kutayha Seramik sales network currently covers five continents. Exports account for 45 percent of output, the most important markets being the United States, Canada, Germany, England and Australia.
