LB acquires Tecno-Sider Automazioni

04/06/07 - LB Officine Meccaniche of Fiorano Modenese (Modena), one of the technological leaders in the ceramic sector, has acquired the majority shareholding of Tecno-Sider Automazioni, based in Pratissolo di Scandiano (province of Reggio Emilia).
Tecno-Sider Automazioni specialises in the production of machinery and automated equipment for a range of industrial sectors (ceramic, food, automotive, glass and wood).

This acquisition comes as part of the growth and diversification policy that LB has been pursuing for the last few years.
After attaining a high degree of specialisation in the field of porcelain tile technology, LB has now also established itself as a partner for manufacturers of pre-mixed building products and can boast some of the industry leaders amongst its customers.

According to LB’s chairman, Ivanno Ligabue, “This acquisition underscores our decision to continue to invest in Italian industry and to work closely with Italian professionals.”
