LB Officine Meccaniche acquires Sitec Impianti-Officine Castellarano

20/06/07 - LB Officine Meccaniche, a leading Italian ceramic machinery manufacturer based in Fiorano Modenese, has pressed on with its local development strategy with the acquisition of the two companies Sitec Impianti and Castellarano Officine Tecnologiche, finalised on 13 June this year.

The acquisition underscores the personal belief of LB’s chairman Ivanno Liguabue in the need to sustain Italy’s key role in the ceramic sector by creating increasingly competitive clusters of companies and by safeguarding professional expertise and technological know-how.

Sitec Impianti and Officine Castellarano have always worked in close cooperation throughout their 25 years of activity. They supply complete plants for the processing of raw materials for the industrial sectors of ceramics, heavy clay, glaze and colours, powder adhesives, pre-mixed products and glass.
