Lira Ceramica announces expansion projects
Lira was set up in December 2001 and initially operated two lines for wall tiles and accents. In 2002, a new floor tile production line was started up following an increase in capacity.
The factory stands on a site with a gross area of about 10 hectares, including 45,000 square metres of buildings comprising the production unit, the warehouses and the offices.
It uses technology supplied by Italian companies including I.C.F. Industrie Cibec, Sacmi Imola, Simec, Kemac, Nuova Fima and Tecnoferrari. Lira Ceramica produces 2.5 million square metres of wall tiles and 3.6 million square metres of floor tiles a year in 40 different collections.
