Made Expo focuses on earthquake protection

MADE Expo is preparing for this year's show which will focus on efforts to protect against earthquake damage. After sponsoring the 15th Conference of ANIDIS (Italian National Seismic Engineering Association), held from 30 June to 4 July 2013 in Padua and addressing the theme of "Seismic Engineering in Italy", the exhibition will give wide coverage to the issue during the exhibition. This will include debates, meetings and analysis as part of the FTC Construction Technologies Forum, sponsored by the Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea and promoted in conjunction with major organisations and associations, and featuring the participation of leading experts in the field.

The FTC Construction Technologies Forum is one of the key events in the Construction and Building Site exhibition at MADE Expo 2013, which will be held in Milan from 2 to 5 October and is promoted by MADE Expo and Edilportale in cooperation with Agorà. The area is entirely devoted to the most advanced design, technological and construction aspects of structural civil engineering, as well as the most innovative materials for constructing safe and strongly anti-seismic new buildings and for adapting existing buildings.
