Minerali Industriali secures lease for Manfredini & Schianchi

The procedure for the lease of Manfredini & Schianchi was concluded on 23 July with the signing of an agreement by Green Tech Engineering, a subsidiary of Minerali Industriali Engineering.

The procedure for the lease of the Sassuolo-based company Manfredini & Schianchi, declared bankrupt by the Court of Modena on 17 June, was successfully concluded on 23 July. The lease agreement for the company (which also includes the subsidiary Manfredini & Schianchi Green Tech) was signed by Green Tech Engineering S.r.l., an Italian company controlled by Minerali Industriali Engineering S.r.l., in turn part of the Minerali Industriali Group of Novara.

With an annual production of 3.5 million tons, 21 deposits, 27 production units (12 in Italy, 4 in Europe, 1 in Asia, 3 in North Africa and 7 in Central and South America) and 620 employees worldwide, Gruppo Minerali Industriali is one of the leading international producers and distributors of raw materials. In 2020, the group succeeded in increasing both its consolidated turnover (132 million euros, +5% on 2019) and EBITDA (17.3 million euros, +8%).
