MosBuild 2009 to showcase the latest trends
Mosbuild, the most important exhibition devoted to the building industry in Eastern Europe, will continue to expand in 2009 in spite of the difficult international economic situation. The exhibition will be held from 31 March to 3 April in the two exhibition centres Expocentr and Crocus Expo and will be divided as usual into six sections: Cersanex (which will showcase finished products and technologies for the ceramic and sanitaryware industry and which in 2008 occupied more than a quarter of the total surface area of Mosbuild) and Buildex will be held in the Moscow Expocentr, while MosInteriors, CountryLiving, Stonex and WinTec Expo will be staged in the Crocus Expo.
A large number of ceramic sector companies will be taking part. The two best known tile producer countries, Spain and Italy, will be organising joint pavilions with more than sixty companies each, and there will be numerous representatives of the other leading producer countries along with local producers and importers. There will likewise be a strong presence of machinery and technology suppliers to the ceramic tile, heavy clay and sanitaryware industries, who will be accommodated in the Technoceramica section, also in the Expocentr. However, the best represented country will be Italy with some forty companies hosted in the pavilion organised by the Italian Trade Commission ICE and Acimac (Italian ceramic plant and machinery manufacturers’ association).
Mosbuild 2008 reported excellent results, including 80,100 visitors (97% professionals) and 2,751 exhibitors from 43 countries in a net exhibition space of more than 90,000 square metres.
