MosBuild reports 27% increase in exhibition space sales
The next MosBuild, the largest Russian exhibition devoted to construction and interior finishings, will be held in the Expocentre and Crocus Expo in Moscow from 5 to 8 April 2011. With a total of 2103 exhibitor companies from 48 countries, the last show held in April 2010 saw a 27% increase in exhibition space sales compared to 2009.
The forthcoming show will not only feature 17 sections covering the entire spectrum of the building and interiors industry, including the important areas of ceramic tiles and tile production technology (called Ceramica and Tecnoceramica, respectively), but will also be launching a new area called Wall Décor devoted to surface coverings and wall decorations. Show manager Ruzanna Sarkisova commented: “The surface coverings market has now become so large that there is a recognised need for a specific section devoted to this sector. Wall Décor will feature numerous decorative motifs, textures and colour combinations created by Russian and international producers to meet market needs.”
In addition to the 17 exhibition areas, the four-day show will feature a large number of seminars, workshops and roundtable discussions. For the first time, MosBuild will also be hosting a conference entitled “Green Building” organised by ITE, the Russian Union of Architects and the Russian Sustainable Building Council.
