Mota takes over the Euroarce Portugese branch

10/09/07 - Mota Ceramic Solutions, a Portuguese company active in the production of raw materials, bodies and professional services for the ceramic sector, has taken over the Portuguese branch Euroarce of the Spanish group Samca/Euroarce.

The company, located in Oiã - Aveiro, took the name MOTA - Soluções Cerâmicas and completes the structures of Mota - Pastas Cerâmicas in the sector of body preparation, with two spray driers for porcelain, chinaware and technical porcelain.

The company will contribute to serving the domestic market and strengthen the position of the group on international markets. The plant will supply an additional capacity in the production of sanitaryware and engobes from special clay.
