New brick plant started up in North Kazakhstan
The new plant’s production capacity stands at around 150,000 bricks/day (4.5 million/month) and in the initial phase will cover 30% of the region’s needs.
With the support of Kazakh Invest, the Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the second quarter of 2022 the brick producer Kirpitch-SK LLP started up a brick factory in the northern region of the country at a cost of around 2 billion tenge (more than €4 million).
Attending the inauguration was Kumar Aksakalov, head of the local administration, who explained that housing construction in Kazakhstan is growing at a rapid pace and pushing up demand for quality building materials.
