New collaboration between Gmm Group and Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola

The Italian ceramic group has chosen the new energy-efficient IE4 Green Power motors to reduce its energy consumption.

Gmm Group, a supplier of components and maintenance services for the ceramic industry, is strengthening its partnership with Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola and assisting it in a project to improve the energy efficiency of its production lines.

The well-known Italian ceramic tile producer has commissioned Gmm to supply a set of new energy-efficient IE4 Green Power series electric motors, designed and manufactured in partnership with Siemens.

For the same output as IE3 standard models, the new Green Power motors have lower power consumption and CO₂ emissions, resulting in improved sustainability of the process and significant energy cost savings and consequently a rapid return on the investment.
