New Marazzi factory in Russia

18/07/03 - The first Marazzi Group factory in Russia, located in the industrial area of Stupino, 60 km south of Moscow, is due to be operative by the end of 2004.
The 20 hectare site will house an ultra-modern factory with an annual tile production capacity of more than 10 million square metres. The clay quarried from a deposit owned by the Group will be fired in four kilns.
The factory will produce glazed and unglazed porcelain tiles, including large format tiles, for the medium-high segment market.

The first Marazzi showroom in Russia has also been opened recently in Moscow.
The showroom will display a full line of Marazzi products along with Hatria sanitaryware, taps, kitchens, lighting and other Italian interior design products.
