NPC takes over Euroatomizado

31/01/07 - NPC (Nuevos Productos Ceramicos), a Spanish company based in Vilafamés specialising in the production of spray-dried clays for white body tile production, took over its main rival Euroatomizado at the end of November in an deal valued at about 32 million euro.

The acquisition has created the largest group in the sector with an estimated turnover of about 70 million euro and will allow the newly-formed company to improve its positioning in the market and to improve customer service in the white clay sector, an increasingly important area of activity for the Spanish ceramic sector.
