Poppi Clementino opens new branch in Foshan
The new Chinese branch is located in the China Ceramic Theatre in Foshan and will become operational as of 1 October.
Reggio Emilia-based company Poppi Clementino, a global supplier of energy saving and energy recovery equipment, services and consulting for the ceramic industry, has opened a new branch in China which will begin operation on 1 October. The new branch joins the subsidiary opened a few years ago in Shanghai and is located in the China Ceramic Theatre (1F08/1F09) in Foshan, capital of China’s largest ceramic district.
China is an important market for the Reggio Emilia-based company due to its size and the current strong demand for factory conversion and modernisation projects aimed at achieving greater environmental sustainability. This makes the market highly receptive to Poppi Clementino’s technologies, which include smart solutions for reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions by improving process efficiency. The branch will not be limited to sales representation but will also play an active role in the dynamic and constantly expanding local context, enabling Poppi Clementino to initiate and consolidate important partnerships with the leading local players in the ceramic industry, with the institutions and with third parties involved in reducing environmental impact and cutting polluting emissions.
Along with offices, the new branch will also have a conference room which will be used to host technical training events for customers.
The new Foshan branch will further strengthen Poppi Clementino’s presence in the world’s major markets alongside its long-established subsidiaries in Spain and Brazil.
