Porcelanite announces opening of new factory
The new facility, which has cost a total of 45 million dollars, is due to start up in November 2004 and will create about 500 jobs.
The company’s management believes the new facility will be able to reach of production of 20 million square metres of tiles within the next five years, making it the largest tile production unit in the world.
Founded in 1959, the Porcelanite Group has 10 factories in Mexico and an annual production of nearly 100 million square metres.
