14/03/06 - Porcelanosa, a Spanish group that manufactures and markets ceramic tiles, bathroom furnishings, kitchens and accessories under 8 brand names (Porcelanosa, Venis, GamaDecor, System Pool, L’Antic Colonial, Butech, Noken and Ceranco), has reported another growth year.

The group’s total turnover (including sales deriving from production activities and the turnover of brand showrooms) reached 874.25 million euro in 2005, 7.85% up on 2004 (in turn 13% higher than in 2003).
The total export share also rose from 58% in 2004 to 62% last year, while the share of turnover generated by sales of ceramic floor and wall tiles remained stable at 70%.

One of the latest new developments is the creation of the Porcelanosa Bath brand name which draws together the offerings of the companies operating in the bathroom segment, namely Gama Decor, System Pool and Noken.
For this purpose, the Imagine Project concept was created to promote an awareness of these brands’ most innovative design creations.

The first showroom opening in 2006 will be on 27 April in Valencia.
