Roca acquires entire capital of Parryware Roca
Last April the multinational giant Roca announced that it intends to acquire the remaining 50% shareholding of Parryware Roca, the largest Indian ceramic sanitaryware manufacturer created two years ago through a 50-50 joint-venture between the Roca group and the Murugappa Group, owner of EID Parry.
Parryware Roca has four production centres and is the only Indian brand in the sector to boast the ‘Superbrand of India' title. Its activities in fiscal 2007-2008 generated a 25% increase in turnover to USD 95 million.
Launched in India a year ago, the Roca brand already has a distribution network of 50 showrooms in 30 cities across the country.
