Rocersa moves to Alcora

Rocersa, a Spanish company founded in 1977 which specialises in the production of ceramic floor and wall tiles, will be concentrating at the Alcora site all the production activities currently carried out in Alcora, Vila-real and Nules in order to rationalise costs and improve production management.

The new site cost a total of 40 million euro and will extend over a total surface area of 253,000 sq.m. Of this, some 72,000 sq.m will be devoted to the production departments, while a further 3,000 sq.m will be assigned to the R&D laboratory, 45,000 sq.m to the deliveries warehouse, 11,000 sq.m to the administrative offices and 170,000 sq.m to the future logistic centre which will be built during a second stage.

In 2006 Rocersa reported a turnover in excess of 60 million euro. It plans to start up the centre by the end of January 2008.
