Royal Mosa (Holland) expands in large-format segment

25/07/06 - The Dutch ceramic company Royal Mosa is continuing its growth in the large format tile segment. After opening a new production facility at the end of last year, Mosa has launched onto the market its new through-bodied porcelain tile collection called Terra XXL in sizes 90x90 cm and 60x120 cm.

Latest-generation machinery has been installed for the production of these new tiles, including System Group end-of-line machines. The new plant features an Easy line BS04 sorting line for large sizes, a portal type palletiser, the new Qualitron NG system for automatic tile sorting and the new Red Line equipment for flatness checking.

Royal Mosa, whose majority shareholder is the Egeria investment fund, is the leading Dutch ceramic tile manufacturer with a turnover of more than 64 million euro and a production of around 6 million sq.m. It exports its products to over 25 countries in 4 different continents.
