Sacmi Group creates new TEAM division

07/06/07 - Team (Technology and Experience for Advanced Materials) is the name of the new division created by the Sacmi Group to coordinate the activities of its various companies that produce complete lines for advanced and technical ceramics. It will also offer greater opportunities for deliveries and service.

Team brings together the know-how, expertise and innovative and technological capabilities of Sacmi Imola (body preparation, engineering, financing), Sama Weissenstadt (forming technologies such as extrusion, pressure casting, belt casting and automation), Laeis Wecker (material and process development, hydraulic pressing technology) and Riedhammer Nürnberg (drying and firing technologies).

This new division will allow for the creation of production process synergies in the field of cutting-edge ceramic technologies, from materials preparation through to forming and firing, including meticulous quality control at all stages. Special R&D facilities will be available for optimising the production process.

Team will offer customers a wide range of machinery with the best technologies for complete plants and production lines. For individual machines each company will continue to operate independently.
