Setec acquires Ipeg

Setec has made yet another acquisition of a historic Italian company in the ceramic machinery sector. After acquiring Vicentini last July, the Civita Castellana-based firm has taken over the brand name, engineering and know-how of Ipeg, a company founded by Mauro Poppi, one of the best known figures in the Italian ceramic sector.
Based on the knowledge and experience of Mr Poppi and his technical staff, Ipeg designed and constructed kilns and dryers for ceramics (tiles, tableware, sanitaryware, frit kilns) and for glass (tempering kilns).

With this new acquisition Setec intends to complete its product range so as to be able to assure customers a complete array of machinery for sanitaryware, tableware, bricks, artistic ceramic and extruded tiles.

At this year’s Tecnargilla Setec will be unveiling innovative machines for the production of sanitaryware, tableware and extruded tiles alongside dryers and roller kilns for tableware
