SITI-B&T Group reports strong growth in first half of 2017
SITI-B&T Group has reported steady growth in the first half of 2017, closing out the six month period with an increase in consolidated revenues to 91 million euros (up 22.5% with respect to the 74.3 million euros of the same period in 2016).
It also posted strong EBITDA growth to 3.4 million euros (3.7% of revenues), 37.7% up on the 2.5 million euros of the half year to 30 June 2016. Another positive figure was the value of billable orders received as of 30 June 2017, which combined with turnover already generated marked a 13.9% increase with respect to the first six months of the previous year.
“We’re pleased with the performance of the first half of 2017 despite its lack of historical significance given the seasonal nature of orders. We have continued our strategy based on R&D investments and on the development of our international network involving the opening of the new branch in Dubai,” commented Fabio Tarozzi, the Italian group’s Chairman and CEO.
In addition to the internationalisation process, the group’s investment policy also focused on developing new products at the Technology Centre in Formigine, including the innovative SUPERA® large-format ceramic slab production line and the new thermal machines which achieve lower levels of consumption and atmospheric emissions. As for the other companies in the group, Ancora continued to develop a new line of water-free products for ceramic surface treatment while Projecta developed DryFix® for dry digital tile decoration.
