SITI B&T Group wins 37 million euro order from Master Tiles in Pakistan
The Pakistani ceramic group will install a complete plant, raising tile production from 15 to 40 million sq.m/year.
Master Tiles, a leading Pakistani ceramic group founded in 1982, is set to install a new complete plant supplied by SITI B&T Group in its facility in Gujranwala, Punjab.
The investment, valued at 37 million euros, will increase tile production capacity from 15 to 40 million sq.m/year, establishing the Pakistani group as one of the largest players in Asia in terms of output volumes. At the same time the improvement in quality will make it more competitive in the international marketplace. The plant will be delivered over the next 12 months.
Latest-generation hi-tech technologies and sustainability are the distinctive characteristics of the new production line developed by SITI B&T Group, a plant that combines production efficiency and energy saving in every stage of the process, creating finished products with outstanding technical and aesthetic qualities.
This latest order demonstrates the capacity of the group led by Fabio Tarozzi to supply complete turnkey plants featuring innovative technologies based on major investments in R&D, including kilns with patented Titanium® technology, high-tonnage EVO presses, digital decorating machines from Projecta Engineering and Ancora machines for surface finishing of ceramic products.
Along with a presence in all the world’s main ceramic manufacturing clusters, the SITI B&T Group’s success is also demonstrated by its economic results. In 2018, the group posted consolidated sales revenues of 206.2 million euros (up 1.4% on 2017) and double-digit growth in margins (EBITDA up 12% and net profit up 27%).
