SITI B&T supplies third complete line to Baldocer

Baldocer, one of Spain’s top ceramic tile manufacturers, recently commissioned a new complete production line from SITI B&T Group, the third in the space of just a few years. This latest order further strengthens the technology partnership with the Italian plant and machinery supplier.

The new plant will be used for the production of large-size porcelain floor and wall tiles and includes an EVO 6,600 t XL press, a five-layer horizontal dryer and a latest-generation kiln with an entrance width of 3,250 mm. This highly innovative line meets criteria of high process sustainability and ensures significant energy savings along with a sharp reduction in atmospheric emissions.

For the product finishing stage, Baldocer opted for the Ancora honing line which can produce various types of finish ranging from a brushed surface to the more complex high-gloss “full field” finish. To guarantee precise and lasting surface protection the materials will undergo the Hi Coat protective treatment, developed 100% using nanotechnologies.
