Siti B&T technology in Indonesia
Maintaining its consolidation and growth trend in Southeast Asia, Siti B&T Group recently won major contracts to supply complete tile production plants to Indonesia.
The agreement with Platinum Ceramics Industry, a well known company in the local market, will involve the installation of two complete lines. The first, which is due to start up in November 2013, will produce 27,000 sq.m/day of single fired tiles in sizes ranging from 30x30 cm to 60x60 cm. The order includes machinery for all stages of the production process (raw materials grinding, a spray dryer, 4 hydraulic presses complete with moulds, 3 five-channel horizontal dryers and 3 single-channel roller kilns complete with pre-kilns, 5 glazing lines complete with accessories, as well as the entire glaze milling department and the process machine loading and unloading systems). The second line, due to start up in October, involves the modernisation of existing plants and consists of 3 horizontal dryers, 5 single-channel dryers, 3 pre-kilns, 6 press overturning units and various storage machines.
Also in Indonesia, last January P.R. ChangJui Fang commissioned Siti B&T to supply a further plant to double up the complete single-fired tile production line it purchased in 2012. The new equipment consists of two horizontal dryers, two pre-kilns, two single-channel roller kilns, loading and unloading machines and two automatic sorting lines. Start-up is due for August 2013.
