The Size installs second System Lamina line

To achieve its aim of developing the world's largest and thinnest ceramic sheets in a range of different thicknesses, the well-known Spanish company The Size has renewed its agreement with the System Group's division System Lamina for the supply of a second production line.

The Size has been using System Lamina technology since 2009, and in 2012 confirmed its intention to continue the partnership following a year of research and development in close cooperation with the Italian Group. The new agreement involves the supply of a complete plant for the production of extremely large format ceramic sheets (up to 1200x4800 mm) with thicknesses of between 5 and 12 mm. The new thicknesses will enable the Spanish company to produce materials for the broadest range of applications, from floors to wall coverings and external facades and featuring any kind of graphic design created using dry, digital and conventional decoration.
