Solar Turbines invests and grows in the ceramic market

Solar Turbines (Caterpillar Group) is continuing its efforts in the field of ceramics. In partnership with the leading technology players in the sector, the company has developed a range of products and digital solutions that will further improve the performance of cogeneration systems by optimising the operation of the turbine in perfect synchronisation with the production process and trends in the energy market.

These new 4.0 digital solutions combined with recent turbine hardware optimisations and the new energy storage package have made cogeneration an even more cost-effective solution that fully respects the environment and the principles of sustainable development.

Representatives of Solar Turbines explained these advantages to visitors attending the sector’s top trade fairs held in Brazil, Indonesia, China and Thailand in the first half of 2017.

The technological effectiveness of the proposed solutions has been confirmed by the start-up of two new cogeneration plants for leading ceramic groups in Europe and by a number of orders acquired in various other regions.
