System Ceramics Open House to showcase technological excellence from 23 September

Technological excellence will take centre stage at the System Ceramics Open House in Fiorano Modenese from 23 September to 4 October 2019.

The System Ceramics Open House will be held in the company headquarters in Fiorano Modenese from 23 September to 4 October 2019. For the occasion, System Ceramics will be exhibiting its integrated automation solutions for competitive, digitalised and high-performance production, ranging from decoration to packaging, from the mouldless pressing system to quality control, from handling to the Industry 4.0 software platform.

System Ceramics will also be hosting a demonstration area devoted to smart manufacturing processes based on with Prime, the software developed in-house for managing entire production facilities through an advanced Manufacturing Operations Management system. 

System Ceramics will also be presenting Superfast, the world’s first mouldless press capable of delivering advantages and levels of performance that are simply not possible with traditional pressing technologies. Thanks to the absence of a mould, Superfast guarantees maximum flexibility in size change operations, which involve setting a number of parameters digitally via software without the need for mechanical manoeuvres or belt changes. But the really unique feature of this cutting-edge pressing technology is the fact that all the sizes can be produced with a single belt (starting out from 60 cm modules with thicknesses from 3 to 30 mm), thereby considerably reducing costs.
