Achates Verde and Contemporary
Two projects with innovative application and aesthetics combine conventional ceramic technologies (such as screen printing, gold, lustres and relief grit applications) with digital technology, creating exclusive patterns and surfaces with a true ceramic rather than merely photographic effect. The most significant technical aspect is the fact that digital decoration was performed on the vitrified glaze after rather than before firing.
