Tecno Diamant’s new fickert tools popular in Spain and Poland
Through its network of six branches, two of which are in Europe, Tecno Diamant guarantees comprehensive service and a range of top-quality products including its new line of Fickert abrasives
Italian expertise and a global presence are the defining characteristics of Tecno Diamant, which is pursuing an internationalisation policy based on a network of six ubsidiaries operating in the most strategic markets from Asia to South America. In Europe, the company’s branches in Spain and Poland have long been providing a rapid and customised pre- and after-sales service in their respective countries.
Founded in Almazora (Castellón) in 1999 just four years after the opening of the parent company in Formigine (Modena), the Spanish branch covers an area of 400 square metres and is the go-to partner for local ceramic tile producers for all their tile cutting, grinding, honing, chamfering and lapping requirements. For the squaring stage in particular, the Mixta grinding wheel is proving very popular in the Spanish market for its high efficiency and precision. Grinding wheels and cutting blades are in strong demand in Poland, where Tecno Diamant Polska has been operating since 2010. In 2014, the branch moved to its new premises in Opoczno, which was recently expanded with the construction of a new building. The subsidiary remains in close contact with the headquarters in Italy to ensure prompt delivery of diamond tools on a daily basis and to organise assembly and machine start-up tests.
The new Fickert abrasive tools, which were unveiled for the first time at Tecna 2022, are also enjoying great success in both Spain and Poland. Developed in the new factory in Spezzano di Fiorano (MO), they are highly versatile and ideal for lapping processes, in which they provide ceramic tiles and slabs with high levels of gloss and polish.
