Tunisian company BMT chooses Sacmi Heavy Clay for energy efficiency

A key player in the Tunisian market with a growing number of customers and major projects, Sacmi Heavy Clay has recently completed the sale of two innovative combustion systems for the BMT Briqueterie El Mostakbel facility.

Based in the city of Teboulba, 25 km south of Monastir, the company produces B8 and B12 hollow bricks.

As part of its efforts to achieve greater energy efficiency on the two existing lines, BMT has commissioned Sacmi to modernise the two kilns installed downstream, which will be equipped with high-speed burners and combustion modulation systems.

This latest order is just the first step in a broader plant modernisation and renewal project which the Sacmi Heavy Clay team is working on in cooperation with the BMT staff with the aim of further reducing the company’s energy consumption while improving product quality and overall plant efficiency.
