Turkish company Sanikey chooses a second GA2000 robot
The second GA2000 glazing robot supplied by Gaiotto Automation to Turkish company Sanikey came on-stream in March this year. A versatile system suitable for all vitreous china and fine fireclay models, it combines advanced technology with a high degree of user-friendliness and features a user interface in Turkish.
This second glazing station consists of a 4-position carousel that is fully controlled by the GA2000 robot without the aid of a PLC. All machine functions and settings are entered directly using the new joystick, a feature that enabled Sanikey technicians to get the integrated glazing station up and running in a very short space of time. The Mass Control system for spraying quality control is incorporated into the GA2000 software, allowing dedicated parameters to be set for each individual spraying programme. All features are fully compliant with EC safety standards, which have been adopted in Turkey.
This second Gaiotto plant will enable Sanikey to automatically glaze a further 570 pieces per day while maintaining the highest quality standards. Outstanding performance is also guaranteed by numerous other Sacmi solutions installed in the facility, including high-pressure casting machines, shuttle driers and the firing department.Did you find this article useful?
