The upcoming Tecna Next webinar will focus on Digital Transformation in Ceramics
BMR, Breton, I-Tech, LB, Sacmi and System Ceramics are the companies that will be taking part in the next webinar organised by Ceramic World Web for TecnaNext.com. The event will be livestreamed on 3 March in Italian and on 4 March in English
The next appointment in the series of technical webinars organised by CeramicWorldWeb and Tecna Next will be held on 3 and 4 March and will be devoted to the highly topical issue of digitalisation of production processes within the ceramic industry. The online event will focus in particular on the most innovative technological proposals that are driving the digital transformation of factories and bringing enormous benefits in terms of efficiency, service quality, competitiveness, safety and sustainability. Considered an urgent priority even before the onset of the pandemic, this process of digitalisation has undergone rapid acceleration in the last 12 months, guaranteeing the continuity of factory operations thanks to remote assistance and remote start up of ceramic plants worldwide that have made it possible to eliminate distances.
All of this will be discussed in the next webinar entitled “Digital Factory: from remote assistance to remote plant start up”, which like the previous events will be held in two livestreamed sessions on the Tecna Next platform:
- Wednesday 3 March at 3.00 p.m. (in Italian) → REGISTER NOW
- Thursday 4 March at 10.00 a.m. (in English) → REGISTER NOW
with a repeat at 4.00 p.m. on CeramicWorldWeb.it
The event will once again host leading companies that have long been committed to developing and continuously upgrading solutions for the digitalisation of production processes.
Stefano Puccini from LB will begin by discussing ways of making human-machine interaction more efficient in order to simplify access to correct, real-time information amidst the enormous flow of data handled by today’s hardware and software solutions.
Next up will be Cristian Mattioli and Paolo Bertocchi from System Ceramics, who will offer the audience a tour of a modern smart factory where the Prime platform organises the information flows of all the integrated and interconnected production lines and where service work can easily be performed remotely.
On the same subject, Erika Franceschelli from Sacmi will outline the progressive digital transformation of companies that now allows for complete control of plants and remote start-up using cutting-edge technology: the new frontiers of the Customer Service in the “new normal”.
Two talks will be devoted to the digitalisation of ceramic surface finishing departments. Francesco Incerti from BMR will discuss simulation, analysis and design of a digitalised finishing process and the advantages it brings in terms of greater dynamism, sustainability and efficiency. Remote support services will be the focus of the presentation by Eddy Zordan and Federico Milan from Breton, a company that has been providing remote assistance to customers since the early 2000s and has improved its service year after year by adopting new technologies available on the market such as augmented reality.
Last but not least, Giulia Zanni of I-Tech will describe the experience of her company, which thanks to the digitalisation of its products and services has in recent months been able to provide customers with punctual, high-quality remote support for both maintenance work and the installation and start-up of systems.
