Verdés official sponsor of Keramtex 2015

Verdés was the official sponsor of the 13th Keramtex 2015, an international conference held in the Republic of Tatarstan (Russia) on 27 and 28 May this year. The main goal of the conference was to share experiences, know-how, proposals and innovations for the development of the brick and tile industry in the Russian Federation. Alongside representatives of the local government, the event was attended by leading experts in the building materials sector, mainly from Russia, Spain and France.

The first day was devoted to a visit to the new brick factory located in Mamadysh and equipped with Verdés systems. Guided by representatives of the brickworks and specialist technicians from the Spanish company, visitors had a chance to get to know the technological process used in the latest-generation plants.

The second day of the conference was devoted to the presentation of the latest technological innovations in the brick industry. The Verdés presentation focused on fine grinding of raw materials in the manufacture of ceramic products with high added value (including clinker production in Russia). It also addressed the impact of carbonate inclusions on the quality of ceramic products and described the characteristics of pendular and hammer mills used on dry preparation lines and roller mills for the wet process.
