Victoria plc adopts Digital Design’s RPD software
RPD (Remote Product Development) optimises product development and subsequent production processes by reducing prototyping time and improving graphic design quality.
Digital Design, a SITI B&T Group member company specialising in digital design projects and graphic processes, is also establishing itself as a supplier of customised colour profiling and management systems for digital printing. Its innovative RPD (Remote Product Development) software developed together with MProject Consulting was recently adopted by Victoria plc, the UK-based flooring group which operates in the ceramic tile sector in Italy, Spain and Turkey with the brands Ascot, Dom, Serra, Keradom, Vallelunga, Capri, Colli, Casabella, Casainfinita, Keraben, Metropol, Saloni, Ibero and Graniser.
RDP is a user-friendly programme designed to optimise product development and subsequent production processes. The software is able to generate profiles that improve the quality of the graphic designs by enhancing colours and details without sacrificing flexibility, thereby allowing them to be transferred rapidly to the same or different production lines. As well as reducing prototyping time and print tests, it also results in significant savings in terms of ink usage and printer maintenance.
