VitrA: new investments for Engers

16/02/07 Less than a year after the acquisition, the new VitrA logistics centre is already being built at the Engers Keramik in Neuwied (Germany).
It will be built on an area of 18,000 sq.m, of which 3,000 will the available for the covered deposit and 5,000 sq.m for the external warehouse.
Also planned in the project is 180 sq.m for an office area.

Engers has also announced management changes.
Heinz Jungbecker, the longstanding general manager of Engers Keramik, is leaving his post at the end of 2006 after successfully conducting the transfer of the company to the Eczacibasi Group.
Jungbecker will retain ties with Engers in the capacity of consultant.
The general management of Engers Keramik will pass to Zeki Safak Ozan, who is also general manager of VitrA Bad.
Lastly, on 1 September, Ulrich Griesar, 41, was named as the new sales director of Engers, with additional responsibilities in the field of product development.
