Vitromex USA opens new distribution centre

07/07/06 - Vitromex USA, US subsidiary of the eponymous Mexican ceramic tile manufacturer, recently opened a new distribution centre in Laredo, Texas.
The new 44,000 square metre facility will warehouse all Vitromex products for the US market including the new Artemis impervious glazed porcelain tiles, of which the first few series manufactured at the facility in San Luis Potosi (Mexico) were unveiled at Surfaces 2006.
The distribution centre also has a 15,000 square metre yard and 20 loading docks.

With the new distribution centre, Vitromex will be able to offer a 48-hour turnaround on full truckload orders, allowing for faster delivery to distributors.
