Welko WK 4.200 presses in Shanghai

15/01/03 -The Italian ceramic machinery manufacturer Welko (Spino d’Adda) has received an important recognition for its WK series presses. Cimic of Shanghai, one of the largest Chinese ceramic tile manufacturers, has ordered eight 4,200 ton Welko presses for the production of porcelain tiles, which will be shipped and commissioned during 2004.
The order follows other sales of the same range of presses already made in China, in the provinces of Guangdong, Shangdong and Anhui.
Given the outstanding characteristics of the WK series presses in terms of reliability and efficiency, Welko is optimistic about the negotiations currently in progress regarding the double piston presses, WK2.

Cimic, which began tile production in 1992, now produces 12 million sq.m/year in three factories equipped with the most modern Italian technologies.
