The world of ceramics meets in Verona


The second International Congress on Ceramics will be held in the Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona from 29 June to 4 July. At the six-day congress, promoted by the International Ceramic Federation and the European Ceramic Society and organised in cooperation with the Italian Ceramic Society, professionals from the worlds of industry, research and ceramic societies of various countries will have the opportunity to discuss developments, innovation and new prospects for ceramic materials in their various fields of use. The congress will also address the themes of Ceramics for Environment, Ceramics for Energy and Ceramics for Health and Biotechnologies. The six-day congress will feature in-depth discussions on six major themes (including ‘THEME 4', innovation and improved functionalities in construction materials, to be held on Thursday 3 July) which will explore the state of the art of science and technology applied to ceramics.
