Record breaking numbers for the 29th CeramBath fair
The 29th CeramBath fair (Foshan, 18-21 April), the biggest and most influential ceramic and bathroom event in China, registered once again record breaking numbers, with over 54,000 visitors from 127 countries, 720 exhibitors, 22 international brands (mostly from Italy, Spain, Germany, USA, Japan) and an exhibition area of about 350,000 sq.m.
Organized by Foshan China Ceramics City Group Co., Ltd. twice a year (next edition will be held from 18 to 21 October), the event was mostly attended by Asian visitors (71%), as well as professionals coming from Europe (12%), North America (6%), Africa (5%), South America (4%) and Oceania (2%).
Most of them (51%) came to find new suppliers, to source new products (33%), to update new products information & technologies (35%) and to meet current suppliers (32%).
Many exhibiting companies, including Inol, Overland, Padara, Daugres, Diao, Mati Ceramics, Brola, showcased large size tiles (the longest side length reached 3 meters). Stereoscopic ceramic tile was likewise a hot topic of concern at the fair, featuring bumpy textures with strong visual effects.
"I liked the fair because I found some interesting manufacturers and products, such as tiles and toilet products, which attracted me a lot. I spent a good day here", commented Dijana, an Australian buyer.
Khurram Sheland, a distributor from Pakistan said: "It was my first time to come to CeramBath. The first impression flashed across my mind was the staffs and services here. They were all excellent! The products exhibited on the first floor, such as the bathroom accessories and cabinets, were wonderful and bright! All the products were extremely attracting, and the nice mosaics impressed me. Surely, I will attend the 30th CeramBath!"
"I think CeramBath is really nice", added Carlos, a Spanish market analyst. "It's good for us to see different companies from all around the world. CeramBath is concentrated in ceramics while Canton Fair is scattered in many different goods. So if you just want to buy ceramics and sanitary ware, here is the better option. I will come here in next session."
