Tecnema Technology

The majority shareholder since May 2018, Breton has completed its acquisition of the shares of Tecnema, which will be incorporated into the Treviso-based company by the end of the year.

The operation will enable Breton to strengthen its presence in the ceramic tile market and establish a technological leadership position in the tile and slab finishing segment.

Energy saving and energy efficiency are amongst the most important and topical issues for the ceramic sector. The Tecnema automatic dry squaring line transforms these aspects into added value and stands as the industry benchmark for energy saving.

Tecnema has also improved its Dry Square 4.0 machine for dry grinding, with four units due to be delivered by the end of the year.

15% growth in revenues thanks to the stronger sales network and the launch of new machines.

Along with the advantages of the previous versions of Square Dry 4.0 (lower energy consumption and environment impact and less need for maintenance), the new solution also brings benefits in terms of total automation and greater safety for the operator.
