Smalticeram took part in Cersaie 2024 to present its latest developments inspired by the “Simply Better” concept, which reflects the simplicity, efficiency, innovation and design that have always been the company’s strengths.

The new highlight of the Smalticeram range is the SJW series of water-based materials, which combine high performance with low environmental impact.

SJW Water-Based Glue, a digital glue, ensures perfect application on ceramic surfaces, upholds high environmental standards and significantly reduces odour emissions, thus testifying once again to the company’s commitment to more sustainable production. The Italian glaze manufacturer presented a selection of new projects treated with SJW materials, where the water-based glue is used in conjunction with technical micro-grits to create sophisticated, high-performance surfaces. Glossy and matt water-based materials add texture and design to surfaces, while textural and grooving inks generate a three-dimensional effect, to strike a perfect balance between styling and sustainability. SJW Digital Water-Based Glue, combined with micro-grits from the renowned GF series, gives rise to innovative, eye-catching effects that transform tiles into signature interior design pieces.

Against a backdrop of increasing environmental awareness, Smalticeram is blazing a trail and demonstrating that excellence and environmental responsibility can coexist, in line with the beauty that is the hallmark of Made in Italy.

Smalticeram’s stand at Cersaie was designed using the “Piazza Piccola” colour (a tribute to the city of Sassuolo and its famous “little square”), which incorporates warm earth tones imbued with a hint of pink, fostering an atmosphere of refined comfort, while attracting attention with its uniqueness.
